Frequently Asked Questions

Disney Vacation Club (DVC) is Disney’s version of a timeshare. When DVC members cannot use their allotted points for the year, they can rent them out to guests like you! We act as the secure bridge between the two of you. We work with the member to book your exact Disney room in your name, and you pay a fraction of the cost you would pay booking directly through Disney.
-
Yes, point renting is absolutely allowed. Disney’s official member guidelines explicitly state that members may rent out their points to guests.
What Disney has recently cracked down on is "commercial use." This refers to individuals who purchase tens of thousands of points and operate massive, unlicensed rental businesses as a full-time job. Under their latest policy update, Disney defines commercial use as a member booking more than 20 reservations in a single 12-month period where the majority of those stays are for unrelated guests.
Disney is not discouraging everyday owners from renting out their unused or leftover points. If you are an owner who occasionally uses our brokerage to rent out a few reservations a year so your points don’t expire, you are fully compliant with Disney’s guidelines.

Absolutely. Once your reservation is linked to your My Disney Experience app, Disney treats you exactly like any other resort guest. You receive all the standard perks, including:
Early Theme Park Entry (30 minutes before opening)
Free overnight parking at your resort and the theme parks
The ability to purchase Disney Dining Plans
Bonus: Because all DVC resorts are considered "Deluxe" tier, you also get access to Extended Evening Hours on select nights!

When Disney rents a Deluxe Villa directly to the public, they charge premium retail prices. DVC Members, on the other hand, have already paid for their points and are usually just looking to cover their annual maintenance dues. For example: Booking a Deluxe Studio at the Polynesian directly through Disney might cost $800+ a night, but renting points for that exact same room often costs half that.
-
Because we are booking through a timeshare system using owner’s points rather than a standard hotel, DVC members can lose their points if a room is canceled. Therefore, all DVC rental agreements are final and non-refundable. We highly recommend purchasing "Cancel For Any Reason" travel insurance immediately after booking to protect your vacation investment!
